What Happens After Support Ends?

  2. Check Compatibility: Use the Windows 11 Compatibility Tool to see if your current hardware can support the upgrade.

  3. Backup Your Data: Ensure all your important files are backed up. Use tools like OneDrive to keep your data safe and accessible across devices.

  4. Consider New Hardware: If your current PC can’t upgrade to Windows 11, it might be time to invest in a new device. Look for PCs that come with Windows 11 pre-installed.

  5. Extended Security Updates (ESU): For organizations and educational institutions, Microsoft offers Extended Security Updates for up to three years after the end-of-support date. Personal customers can also opt for this service, though pricing details are yet to be confirmed

Why Upgrade?

  • Enhanced Security: Windows 11 includes advanced security features like TPM 2.0, virtualization-based security, and Smart App Control.

  • Improved Performance: New PCs with Windows 11 are designed to be faster and more efficient.

  • Modern Features: Enjoy a streamlined user interface and new productivity tools that make your computing experience smoother and more enjoyable.
