Tech Tip Tuesday is a weekly email that tells you a quick tip about technology

Good morning, Welcome back to a new Tech Tip Tuesday. Today’s Tech Tip is going to be about how to use Multiple Desktops on Windows 11. Below you will find helpful ideas that we are going over in today’s Tech Tip.

  • What are Multiple Desktops

  • How to add Multiple Desktops to your PC

  • How to have 2 different backgrounds on 2 different desktops

  • How to rearrange your desktops

  • How to name your desktops

First things first, What are Multiple Desktops? I’m glad you asked. Multiple Desktops are a way for you to organize your work and your personal stuff.

To add a new desktop hover over the icons located in the center of the taskbar until you find the desktop icon. If you don’t see this, please call us immediately at (770) 758-7315.

Now, let’s talk about how to change the backgrounds on your desktops. First, go to the task manager then right-click on the desktop that you want to change.>then, a menu will appear, click on the option that says (chose background).>Now you have successfully changed the background on one of your desktops. If you want to change the background on your other desktop repeat that process.

Next, We are going to talk about how to rearrange the desktops. To rearrange the desktops go to the task manager>Hold and drag the desktop where you want it.

Next, we will talk about how to rename the desktop because we all know the name desktop 1 and desktop 2 are boring names. So next, go to the task manager>Then, right-click on the desktop that you want to rename>Next, on the menu that pops up click on rename. Now you know how to rename your desktop.

Thank you for subscribing to Tech Tip Tuesday. Have an amazing Tuesday
