Tech Tip Tuesday for the next couple weeks will be about IOS 17. These features are only available on IOS 17. IOS stands for iPhone operating system.
Good morning and welcome back to a new Tech Tip Tuesday. Today’s Tech Tip will be talking about IOS 17 Standby mode.

What is Standby Mode?
Standby Mode is a way to have full-size widgets on the lock screen like we have on the Apple Watch.
How To Set Standby Mode Up?
First, open the settings app on your phone. Next, scroll down to the tab called StandBy. Now you have these settings options
Description of each setting
Standby Mode
StandBy will turn on when iPhone is placed on its side while charging to show information like widgets, photo frames, or clocks.
Night Mode
StandBy presents in a red tint with low ambient lighting.
Show Notifications
Critical notifications will still be shown in StandBy if this switch is off.
Show Preview on tap only
StandBy can hide the preview of a notification until you tap on it.
