Tech Tip Tuesday (Apple Pay)

Good morning and welcome back to a new Tech Tip Tuesday. Today’s Tech Tip is going to be about Apple Pay.

• What is Apple Pay?

• How to set up Apple Pay?

• How to use Apple Pay in stores, vending machines and online?

First, what is Apple Pay? Well, Apple Pay prevents you from pulling out your card to pay. We all know that it’s a pain to do so. Well, Apple has come up with a great solution called Apple Pay.

Next, I will walk you through how to set up Apple Pay on your iPhone. First, to set it up on your phone go to the wallet on your phone. Next, tap the + sign in the top right corner of your screen. Now, click on the option that says Dedit or Credit card. Finally, Follow the prompts to set up your card. You have successfully Set up your Card on Apple Pay.

Finally, I will show you how to pay with Apple Pay.

Paying In Stores

When you are at the pin-pad payment device double click the side button on your phone. If you are on version 8 lower double click the home button. On an iPhone 10 or later, unlock your cards using face ID. Now you should be able to hold your phone near the payment device to complete the purchase.

Paying online

You can use Apple Pay online to make in-app purchases. You also can use Apple on websites just look for the Apple Pay button at checkout.
