Tech Tip Tuesday (Apple Map Guides)

Good morning and welcome back to a new Tech Tip Tuesday. Today’s Tech Tip is going to be about the Apple Maps Guide.

Apple Maps Guide is a way for you to save a place that you really want to go back to in the future.

How do I create a guide? First, open Apple Maps on your phone—Next, type in the place that you want to save. Now, Click on the ellipsis (3 dots) in the top right of the menu. Now a drop-down should show. From the drop-down click on “Add to Guide.” You’ve successfully added your first guide to the Maps app.

Finally, I’m going to show you how to find/share one of your guides. To find a guide open your Apple Maps app. Next, scroll down until you see “My Guides”. Then, click on the one that you want. Now, I’m going to show you how to share a guide with your friends/family. First, go to the guide that you want to share, at the bottom, middle of your screen you should see the share icon. Finally, share the link with them. Now that you’ve learned how to create Guides in Apple Maps, you can save your favorite places.
